Summary
The MEP Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors (mechanical, electrical and plumbing). The MEP Engineer is responsible for ensuring safety, MEP schedule, quality of work and adherence to the project budget. This project involves the Structural Rehabilitation of the East River Suspended Spans and Anchorages at the RFK Bridge located in New York, NY.

Education and/or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts related to business acumen, financial concepts, and various engineering related calculations. A high math aptitude is necessary for computer automation projects and logic. An understanding of statistics and other higher level math is necessary. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; AutoCAD; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, reporting tools related to databases.

Work Environment
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 20% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
